UPDATE: It has been agreed upon that Warsaw will host the opening match, and Kiev will host the final.
November 3, 2005 is when UEFA will choose 3 bids to continue. The other bids we are in contention with:
- Greece
- Italy
- Azerbaijan
- Russia
- Turkey
- Croatia and Hungary
Romania is no longer in the running as they lack the finances to continue, so the process is down to 9 countries - 7 bids

The list has been cut down even further. Teams were required to submit documents Thursday to officially be considered. Only 5 bids did so, the 5 are:
Poland-Ukraine
Croatia-Hungary
Greece
Italy
Turkey
Russia, Romania, and Azerbaijan are now out of the running.
On November 7, 2005 UEFA will choose the final 3

Only a few more days till we find out if the dream is a reality or not. My picks:
Italy, Greece, Poland-Ukraine
I mean come on, surely we are better off than Hungary and Croatia...right? I don't see us winning unless Italy pulls out and Greece cannot afford it after the olympics, but final 3 is definitely a possibility.
