I know this is a bit early to ask but does anyone plan on going to Euro 2012? I would really love to but I would imagine that the tickets would be almost impossible to get unless if your willing to pay a lot for it...
I have a friend going to South Africa for 2010 anyone going there?

UEFA finished the first day of their meeting in Bucharest, and made some decisions on the host cities of Euro 2012.
They include that: - The four cities that will definitely be hosting the tournament in Poland are: Warszawa, Gdansk, Poznan and Wroclaw. - Warszawa is hosting the opening match, a quarter-final and a semi-final. - Gdansk is hosting the other quarter final. - Chorzow & Krakow are scrapped as reserves and will not take part in Euro 2012. Meanwhile, in Ukraine: - Kiev is the only city confirmed to host matches in Ukraine (group, quarter, semi) - It is NOT certain that Kiev will be hosting the final of Euro 2012. - Kiev has until November 30th of this year to improve the situation of their stadium, infrastructure etc otherwise they will not be hosting the final. - Donetsk, Lviv, and Kharkiv also have until November 30th to improve their situations. If they don't meet the requirements by Nov 30th, then they will not host any matches. - Odessa and Dnipropietrovsk have been scrapped as reserves like Chorzow & Krakow.
Platini suggested that the tournament may well end up being hosted in 6 cities, 4 in Poland, Kiev and the other Ukranian city in the best state by November, which poses a tough question. Donetsk's stadium is going to be one of the world's best, but if the infrastructure is not all there, it could end up to be in Lviv. And if you take a look on a map the distance Donetsk is from the rest of the cities is huge compared to Lviv. If Kiev don't improve their situation then who knows, we could see the Opening Match and Final being played in Polska...

Well thats good for Poland, I still think Kiev will get the final though. They already have the stadium all they have to do is improve it. Poland still has to build the stadiums.

The problem with Ukraine is their infrastructure not their stadiums. That's their biggest worry.

i think its going to end up being 4-2, the other city will be Lviv. Kharkiv won't be able to support it and Donetsk is too far away, they have to build another 2000km of highway or something just to get to the one venue. If there are only 6 venues then every place will get 4 group matches - good for poland.

Krakow is really pissed that they did not get a Euro spot. They lost out on the tourism factor to Wroclaw which seriously should've been no contest as they have a much better industry. Now they are talking about scandals and political shit. More problems here we come.

Have a look at Stadion Narodowy. This has completely taken off in the last 2-3 weeks and it looks amazing!

Looks pretty darn good for the amount of time they have been building this thing.
