Lech's current construction of the large roof addition will be delayed becasue the company that is supplying the materila went under. The new suppliers materials are heavier so they have to redesign the roof structure again to accomodate the extra weight. This will delay the opening of the stadium to the team from September to November but will not change the original June 2010 completion point.

Well this isn't an official source of course, but things are looking bad for Ukraine, don't know how many stadiums there going to be able to have, but it looks like Warszawa will definetly get the final. Its also been considered to add additional Polish cities, and even add Berlin and Leipzeg....

Poland and Ukraine are not going to the World Cup... of course when we get the chance to host the Euro our national team goes down hill...

So Ukraine has until November 29 to prove to UEFA that they can host the Euro, they still have a chance of losing it. December 9 - 11 the final decision will be announced.

Tomorow UEFA will announce which Ukraine cities will be hosting the Euro 2012 and where the final will be. It will probably be in Kiev since they have the bigger stadium, I hope it will be in Warsaw though.

And on Monday they will announce the official logo and motto for the Euro 2012, I wonder what that will look like.

Although the one part of me is happy that Ukraine is on track to have 4 host cities, I was kind of hoping Poland would get 6, including the finals :(

There is still a really high chance that Warsaw will get the final, there's a lot of speculation about it but they built the media center in Warsaw which is normally built where the final will be. Ukraine's infrastructure is terrible and not going anywhere, while Poland's is terrible but getting way better fast. It will be interesting to see what happens as Donetsk's stadium is absolutely amazing, but the chances of Ukraine building a 700km highway from there to Kiev is unlikely. I reckon Warsaw will get the final.

Well, so much for that idea. The final will be played in Kiev, and both Poland and Ukraine will have 4 host cities each.
Poland: Warszawa, Poznan, Wroclaw, Gdansk
Ukraine: Kiev, Lwow, Donietsk, Charkow

Looks liek UEFA likes to keep with the riginal plan but the Ukrainians are saying that there are problems with alot of things still and that the risk of incompletion is there.

Well there you go, probably best for both countries to keep it the way it was, though I was hoping Warsaw would still get the final. Ukraine certainly have some great new stadiums at the moment, and Poland's are on the rise so now we will leave it to the thousands and thousands of construction workers all around the two countries to make this the best Euro's ever...hopefully.

Time to start saving up for this. I wonder how much tickets will cost for the Poland games and what are the odds of even getting one in Canada.

I was wondering that too, do they even sell Euro tickets in North America, or anywhere else besides Europe?

My Uncle wants to get tickets, he lives in Poland, but he says I have a much better chance of getting it, I assume they sell them online.
