Well looks like Eduardo is going to get some kind of punishment for that dive against Celtic. UEFA is currently looking into it and could get banned for 2 matches. I'm glad hes not getting away with it, Im sure Boruc is too :D

heh this is part of the UEFA Super Cup, I believe its just one match.

Winners of Champions League vs Winners of UEFA (Europa) League

Surprisingly 17 matches were won by the UEFA League winners and 16 were won by the Champions League winners, although it doesn't seem to be taken seriously, as I watched the game now it clearly shows they didn't care about the stadium the grass is terrible and its not even full.

Yea, quite a disappointing run this year, Wisla :P Brozek stayed there to help Wisla through the Champions League instead lost to an Estonian team, coulda went to Fulham...

Oh and Barcalona beat Shaktar 1 - 0 in overtime, Barcalona had possession all the time but when Shaktar did get the ball they sure did get some close chances.

It was a really boring game. They showed clips of Platini falling asleep.

I was pretty upset to see Lyon knock out Real Madrid, it would be great to see them in the final with all the stars they have on there.

I hope tomorow Chelsea beats Inter and goes through, its a really good fixture though good enough for a final, should be a great game.

I just finished watching Chelsea vs. Inter and to my surprise Inter won 1-0 with a goal from Eto. In all honesty though Inter was the better team in both games and shut Chelsea down pretty well. I wonder what Ted is feeling right now? In the other game CSKA actually beat Sevilla 2-1 and goes through. The winning goal was actually sort of a fluke, some asian guy called Honda from CSKA jsut powers a free kick from 35 yards out and the Sevilla goalie punches it bad and it goes into the net. Also the draw for the next round is on Friday.

I disagree with you there, Chelsea was definetly the better team in the first leg, Inter got lucky that time, Chelsea had a major majority in posession. I didn't watch this the second leg so I can't judge on that game, I'm pretty disappointed Chelsea didn't go through.

Moscow winning that one away is suprising! Well the next round is where it begins to get intense should be great.
