 Kuszczak has his chance
« Thread Started on Dec 20, 2009, 9:32pm »

He has played about 7 matches in a row now for United and gotten 3 clean sheets with a record of 5-2 (3-2 in the Premier League, and a win in the Carlilng Cup and the Champions League against Wolfsburg). Manchester United recently lost 3-0 to Fulham but it sounds like Kuszczak kept it from getting even worse and was noted as one of the top players. van der Saar is injured and is said to be seeing a doctor soon, so Kuszczak will hopefully get a few more games in at least. United next play on the 27th and 30th against Hull and Wigan.

Let's go Kuszczak!

I've been watching the Man U games and he has definetly improved and was never at fault for the losses that Man U have. He's doing well so far, it was rumored that he would leave during the winter transfer window, I don't know about that now.

He has been playing pretty well but I remeber towards the end of last season Van der Sar was injured and Foster played for a longer period of time or was it in the beginning of this season, anyways Kuszczak has gotten better reviews then Foster so maybe just maybe he will be their starter.

I doubt Kuszczak would be their starter, hes definitely good but something tells me that if Van der Sar leaves they will just buy a replacement goalie. Kuszczak isn't one of the best and thats a problem for a team like Manchester United.

How can you say he's not one of the best when he hasn't proven one way or another? He was amazing with WBA, so much so ManU got him.

Well Kuszczak has had a few more good starts since and Edwin Van der Saar is still on leave as his wife is not well plus I'm not sure what the status of his injury is.

Supposedly Boruc is one name Manchester United is interested in replacing Van der Saar when he retires.

Interesting, is Kuszczak also considered to replace Van der Saar? He better be.

I think he's going to change clubs then for sure. I read in an interview and he said he wants to talk to Ferguson about this and how he needs to play somehwere else.
