Some rumoured names involve Heidfeld, Villeneuve, and Sato. I would hope Sato just because it doesn't seem Kubica and Heidfeld have the best of friendships, Villeneuve probably is still bitter over Kubica taking his job and talked smack about him too. Not a great pool of choices there.

Petrov will be Kubica's teammate for the upcoming year. He is 25 and the first Russian in F1.

And if you are interested, Heidfeld is a reserve for Mercedes.

This new Russian came out off practically no where, to claim that second spot... makes you think where he is getting his financing from. They even mention some links to the mafia on a few articles I've read about him... well, that being said, I hope he can provide some good support for Kubica in the upcoming season.

Tha is sort of random but he came up through the same ranks as Kubica. It's good that they got a low profile driver so now Kubica can have all the glory. ;D

So um this is odd, apparently Petrov still needs to pay Renault some money and if he doesn't then he might lose his spot.

This is just getting weird... since when does money play such a large factor in determining whether you're the given driver? What happened to actual talent and attributes being the greatest factor?
